I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were clean and comfortable but the noise from the lift's motor room was constant, making it quite noisy. The hotel had a bit of a tired look overall, including the bathroom, but the size of the room was definitely a plus.
Waking up at 6 am, I found the room shabby and worn out, with scratched tables and units. The secondary double glazing was missing, and there was mouldy black dirt around the windows. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating despite the tired room.
The hotel rooms were fine, except for the dated decor, but they were far too expensive at 4800 for a double room for 2 nights without breakfast. The bed was comfortable despite the decor looking old. The service was a mixed bag, with some staff being very helpful and pleasant, while others were unfriendly or even blunt. The location is convenient, especially for theatergoers and shoppers with nearby attractions and friendly staff. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with delicious food but questionable breakfast pricing. Overall, a decent stay but with room for improvement.
